Conservation in Australia Evening at Sydney Opera House

Experience an inspiring evening celebrating conservation in Australia including ground-breaking
projects and presentations by leading young environmentalists.
DARWIN200 will host its “Conservation in Australia” evening at the iconic Sydney Opera House,
celebrating the work of young environmentalists that have travelled from across the globe to work
with many of Australia’s most inspiring conservation projects.
Each project will be showcased, covering a rainbow of Australia’s endangered wildlife, and each
young environmentalist will give a presentation of their findings and debut a short film that delves
deeper into their specific area of study, offering an intimate look at the challenges and triumphs of
conservation in Australia.
The evening will also feature distinguished guest speakers: Chris Darwin (descendant of Charles
Darwin), famed adventurer George Kourounis, National Geographic Explorer Emma Camp and coral
biologist Dr. Jennifer Matthews.
Arrive at 5:00pm for welcome drinks and canapés in the Utzon Room, Sydney Opera House.
Start at 6:00pm. Proceedings close at 9:00pm.
